A workshop with a discussion on the topic of Crisis Management from a psychological perspective is an ideal developmental activity for senior managers, team leaders, and future leaders who want to learn how to manage chaos with humility and composure. 1. What happens to people during a crisis: People experience a wide range of emotions during a crisis, ranging from panic and fear to apathy. It doesn't have to be this way.
2. Mental Resilience of Leaders: It's during a crisis situation that the potential for someone to become a leader becomes apparent. Even leaders experience stress. However, employees need to feel security and peace from them, as well as respect and empathy. I will advise you on how to handle the stress and the pressure that comes your way.
3. How to Speak to People: A leader must have a manner of speech that can calm people and speak to their souls. They should be able to bring a sense of security while also invoking a sense of individual responsibility. I will tell you how to address employees so that they feel confident and can handle negative news calmly and responsibly. Together, we will find a way to act as a diplomat even in challenging times.
4. Negotiation and Critical Communication: Crisis situations bring strong contrasts, heightened situations, conflicts, and confrontations. The ability to negotiate is a necessary skill that every leader facing discontented people in tough times should master.
5. Discussion: So how do you avoid panic and be a true leader? Lay your cards on the table and share your experiences. Together, we will find a way to build a healthy and a peaceful working environment led by a true leader.
